Description

The composite blade replaces the traditional spring hinge used in most road clipless pedal systems. This has the benefit of making the pedals lighter and more aerodynamic as well as ensuring that the engagement and release tension always remains the same (doesn't fatigue). This system also has the benefit of maintaining the same tension through the whole range of disengagement movement where a traditional spring would become firmer as it gets closer to disengagement.
